Programmes & Activities
Passport & Biometric Exercise
The Passport and Biometric Exercise is a key Ghana Union Manchester programme that helps make consular services more accessible to Ghanaians in Greater Manchester. In partnership with the Ghana High Commission, we bring passport application, renewal, and biometric capturing services closer to the community, reducing the need for long-distance travel.
The exercise provides an organised and convenient process where applicants can submit documents, complete biometric enrollment, and receive guidance with online applications or requirements. It ensures that members of our community can obtain essential travel documents with ease and proper support.
Welfare & Guidance
We provide compassionate assistance to community members during times of difficulty.
Our welfare team supports individuals and families facing personal, financial, or social challenges by:
Offering guidance and emotional support
Connecting members to trusted social services and partner organisations
Coordinating community support during emergencies
Providing practical help to ensure no one feels alone
Our goal is to uplift, empower, and stand with each other in moments of need.
